   My art reflects my soul,my background,my history. I learned to paint with my dad,Kennedy Bahia, who was a well known artist in Brazil,specially during the 70's when his tapestries were a must and he spread his art all over Brazil,South America and even some parts of the U.S,having as an example of how important his name was to the Brazilian art he still has a tapestry in one of the rooms in the presidential palace in Brasilia.

   Now at the age of 40 I decided to engage on one of the biggest adventures of my life,follow his footsteps,what every child that had a famous parent knows it's not easy,you'll always be compared,but I'll take all the comparisons as compliments and as a way to keep the memory of Kennedy Bahia alive and yes I'll keep a lot of his style in my paintings while I develop my own style,what is life if not learning day by day and nothing better than having your own relations as examples to follow.
